You can cover multiple work areas by installing just a few overhead elements in the workshop because they can slide to the required workstation when necessary.
What are the ideal conditions for installing an overhead vehicle exhaust system? Let's take a look together:
- in which cases it is better to install overhead vehicle exhaust systems
- the recommended exhaust extraction systems
- the advantages of an overhead vehicle exhaust system in the workshop
In which cases it is better to install overhead vehicle exhaust systems
Each work area where the vehicle’s engine is on requires an exhaust extraction system. We recommend overhead vehicle exhaust systems when:
- numerous workstations are located one next to the other;
- the carriages or the reels can be shared between multiple stations because simultaneity of use permit that
The recommended exhaust extraction systems
Overhead vehicle exhaust systems are the most flexible type in WORKY’S range for workshops and undoubtedly help to maintain high productivity levels in the workshop.
What elements do they include
The fundamental elements that make up the systems, in particular include:
- tracks - made of extruded aluminium, they consist of 4 m modular bars with 2 rubber strips that allow them to be closed when the exhaust fan is running. The product has been made in 2 versions to better adapt to light applications, or to situations where bigger air volume is required. Both are made of aluminium to combine rigidity and lightness and their modularity allows you to create systems of the desired length;
- sliding elements - hinged suction arms, reels and trolleys represent the most flexible and advanced form of exhaust fume extraction.
- nozzles - the fume collection device plays a fundamental role, as it must interact in the best possible way with the exhaust pipes with innumerable shapes and positions;
- hoses - available in various diameters and lengths, resistant even up to 1000° C, they are made with the best technologies.
The advantages of an overhead vehicle exhaust system in the workshop
Extraction systems of this type provide tangible advantages immediately after installation.
Our customers prove that overhead vehicle exhaust systems offer:
- optimised costs, because the sliding elements can be shared between workstations;
- great flexibility of use, since the sliding elements can be moved where needed;
- more space in the workshop, because the sliding element can be moved to another work area when not needed;
- adaptability to any muffler, there is no need to touch the exhaust pipe when choosing the TOUCHLESS arm.
In addition to overhead vehicle exhaust systems, WORKY also completes its range with stationary, underfloor and mobile systems, to meet the needs of any workshop.
