In line with its powerful expansion plan on the Italian market, JLR is building new shops and service centers characterized by increasingly higher operating and functional standards, conforming to the prestigious status of its brands, placed in a premium segment.
The new premises in Lodi are the brilliant result of deep analysis focusing on the customer’s aims and necessities, where the owner has played a leading role in defining the plan and its design layout. Through several technical tables that have delineated the project in every phase, from start to finish, we have come to the ultimate layout and to its completion.
This centralized system for exhaust extraction includes 2 rails with sliding reels servicing all the work bays. The reels are equipped with WORKY GRNG nozzles which, not only are compatible with JLR vehicles range, but also allow a quick connection to GYNMAG double nozzles, designed for twin exhaust pipes. This device is a user-friendly and quick solution which helps preserving the air quality in the workshop and improving general operations in dedicated areas.
Based on the same efficiency and ergonomic principles, the Investor entrusted Worky with the design of a centralized system for oils and antifreeze liquids distribution, that could deliver technical fluids to each work bay. Due to specific technical requirements, some of the oil feeding stations were fully integrated into dedicated KEEN SPACE workbenches while others were placed in WORKY FRMF Multiservice Portals, to perfectly suit each individual work area.
WORKY, also took care of piping work connecting to the oil room, of pumps, and of all the safety devices which makes it a system with utmost reliability features. Of course, also waste oil drainage and its storage is managed by a centralized system, to maximize the workers’ efficiency and avoid time-consuming procedures.
WORKY also realized a compressed air distribution system, servicing all the workshop areas as well as the underground garage.
WORKY systems together with KEEN SPACE technical cabinetry, in perfect synergy, created an extraordinary, ergonomic and efficient working environment.
On an executive level, the installation works were carried out in a workmanlike manner by highly specialized WORKY personnel, able to guarantee a perfectly operating system despite the complex construction site, where several workers, managed by the General Contractor appointed by the Owner, were in action at the same time. Thanks to a skilled construction site management and to a well-coordinated work progress, the project was successfully completed, perfectly on time.
The new JLR dealership of Lodi and its Service center are now fully operational and heading towards a bright future, full of satisfactions for the Investor and for its demanding customers.
