The basic kit layout always includes a mobile dust extraction system connected to a fixed arm that lets you easily reach the vehicle from above, without taking up floor space with useless cords and extensions. At the same time, the mobile unit can be unhooked from the arm at any time and used to cover applications beyond the arm's reach.
To meet the different needs of those who work in repair workshops seeking compact and flexible sanding dust extraction systems, WORKY has diversified the series in four kits, each suited for specific applications. Let's look at the features in each:
- DKIT3SU is a complete dust extraction system, suited for small-sized workshops. The kit includes a DMOB2 mobile vacuum connected to the 3-metre DARM arm that can be easily directed in the required direction. The arm is equipped with a suspended multi-service panel, that includes electrical and pneumatic utilities and a vacuum nozzle with automatic start.
- DKIT3A shares many elements with DKIT3SU: the DMOB2 vacuum unit and 3-metre swivel arm with built-in utilities and vacuum nozzle. However, all controls are directly installed on the arm in this dust extraction system.
- DKIT6SU, instead, is suited for larger workshops. In fact, the DMOB2 mobile unit is connected to a 6-metre stand-alone arm, suited to cover more space in this kit. Like the DKIT3SU, this dust extraction system is equipped with a suspended panel with automatic start.
- DKIT6AL is the top of the line product. The 6-metre arm can cover larger surfaces while all the utilities, vacuum nozzle and controls are built into the arm, for a highly compact solution. A spot light mounted at the end of the arm provides additional lighting.
DMOB2 mobile unit
All dust extraction kits, as we have seen, share the same vacuum unit: DMOB2. This unit is the heart of WORKY mobile dust extraction systems and incorporates high technological content with years of experience in this sector. DMOB2 is equipped with two 1000W rated motors and single power adjustment switch, automatic vacuum start, electrical sockets and fittings for compressed air distribution. The cellulose bag filter guarantees high levels of filtration while the post-filtration unit triggers when the dust bag accidentally breaks.
