When we talk about vehicles’ maintenance, high-quality service as well as timing are fundamental aspects. These two aspects become even more important when the object is not just a means of transport but actually a means of business.

An important Scania dealer located in Northern Italy was planning to open a new service centre. The WORKY project manager together with the local dealer were involved in designing an effective solution for exhaust extraction as well as fluids and compressed air distribution.

Considering the building height, and the possibility of having an overhead crane installed, WORKY selected the floor trap solution GFT-125-150 with slide-in hose. The WORKY flexible hose GT2, totally crash-proof and heat resistant to 200°, was an essential asset in the system. In fact, even in the event of a driver running it over accidentally, it wouldn’t get damaged.

WORKY after-sales team cooperated closely with the construction company, providing all the necessary information for sizing and positioning of underfloor piping.

Moreover, WORKY designed the technical fluids, energy, and compressed air distribution systems, using the multiservice unit FRMF, perfect for serving two work bays.

The pump for waste oil was placed in the middle of the structure for emptying the mobile drainers quickly and tidily.

The reels for hydraulic fluids distribution, were installed in the pit, to make this task as easy as possible.

Finally, WORKY set up the oil room with high-performance pneumatic pumps and control panels: these would automatically stop the pumps when empty, in this way they don’t get filled with compressed air and consequently, we won’t need to purge it out; Furthermore, in the waste oil system, they prevent the oil from overflowing when the barrel is full.

All of this ensures a safe and high-performance work environment.
