Today we want to tell you how we restyled the equipment in a heavy vehicle workshop in central Italy !
With its solutions, WORKY has been able to satisfy two very different needs such as technical rigour, on the one hand, and aesthetic performance on the other, respecting the quality standards of a Service Centre specialised in large vehicles and, at the same time, reserving extreme attention to system finishes.
Workshops working with heavy vehicles must equip themselves with exhaust extraction systems designed and equipped with the solutions appropriate to the size of the muffler and the important volume of exhaust gas emitted by the vehicle during repairs and/or during the various vehicle tests.
To maintain efficiency, order and productivity, the GT2 fully crush-proof reinforced hose is wound on reels suspended over or near the workstation. Thanks to the spring rewinding system inside the GMR reels, when extraction is no longer necessary, the hose can be rewound to free the work area. The safety hose stop - supplied as standard - completes a product that makes its quality and sturdiness a real strength.
In this workshop, in this specific case, two reels were installed served by a single extractor through suitably dimensioned plant engineering material.
Each reel is equipped with the WORKY GRTN-MG series nozzle, ideal for trucks and commercial vehicles thanks to the Ø 185 mm extraction opening, the manual clamp and the airtight shutter integrated in the body of the nozzle.
According to the same logic of efficiency and ergonomics, WORKY has also designed the distribution system for new oils and antifreeze liquids, which ensures the supply of technical fluids in the workstation.
The reels and dispensing components have been integrated according to the needs of the single work area in the specific WORKY FRMF series Multifunctional Portal.
Worky also supplied the main pipe line for connection to the oil room, the pumps and all the safety devices essential for a highly reliable oil system.
